Best-selling vehicle nameplate – Toyota Corolla   (more than 39,000,000 sold in nine generations since 1966)

I’m not surprised in the slightest

I find this 0% surprising. Have you seen how wide the front of that thing is?!

Kinja'd!!!

Some of that is due to perspective, but look at this:

Not mentioned in the list but not only did Nissan (Bluebird) Maxima have the first semi-active suspension system, it also had the first driver fatigue alert.

Blows my mind reading this list that:

the Brutus has a forty-six liter (airplane) engine.

the highest powered van was a 2014 Chevy Express.

the first active air suspension was an 87 Galant, of all things.

there’s a point on the list for the first steering wheel.

the Lexus LFA is now 7 years old already.

the first auto on/off headlights came out in ‘59.

the Geely BL has an in-car karaoke system.

Hyundai, Land Rover, Jaguar, do not appear anywhere on that list.

The Aventador has a wider front track than rear (???????)

This is commonplace. Track is measured from the centerline of the wheels. Most sports cars with wider rear tires have wider front tracks.
